Consultation for Legal Experts

As a licensed funeral director with extensive experience in end-of-life care, I provide expert consulting services for legal professionals handling cases involving death care industry standards, funeral home practices, and bereaved family rights.
My expertise encompasses wrongful death cases where funeral service mishandling compounds family trauma, regulatory compliance issues involving state funeral service laws and FTC Funeral Rule violations, preneed contract disputes, cremation authorization protocols, and cases involving the mishandling of human remains.

I can offer critical insights into industry standards of care, proper documentation requirements, pricing transparency obligations, and the emotional and practical impacts of funeral service failures on grieving families.

Whether evaluating liability in cases of body misidentification, analyzing compliance with state-specific funeral regulations, or providing testimony on the reasonable expectations families have when entrusting their loved ones to funeral professionals, my combined experience in funeral service operations and death education research positions me to bridge the gap between technical industry knowledge and the human dimensions of grief that courts must consider.
